Horses have always been a part of my life – and today, helping others find the right one is what drives everything I do. I first sat on a horse at the age of four, and never really got off.
From local riding school lessons to owning my own horses, from green youngsters to Grand Prix schoolmasters, I’ve had the opportunity to ride and train horses at every stage of their journey - up to Grand Prix level.
In my late teens, I spent several months in the United States to expand my knowledge in the equestrian world, especially in buying and selling horses.
That time deeply shaped me, not only as a rider but also as a person. It was during this experience that the idea for EquiMatch began to take root.
While being in the U.S., I met a mother who was searching for a safe and suitable horse for her daughter. After I returned to Germany, she asked me to help and I happily took on the task. The process of scouting and testing the right horse fascinated me far more than I expected.
What started as a one-time favor quickly turned into something bigger. Since then, I’ve helped more and more riders from abroad connect with trusted German breeders and barns, and find horses that truly fit their needs.
